Our Beliefs

These are our core beliefs.
All counseling is firmly rooted in the following Biblical Doctrines:

The Bible

It is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God
(Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

One God

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are co-eternal and equal in power and glory.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:18-20)

The Father

The Father is eternal, infinite, and unchangeable in His wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth. He is the Creator, Sustainer, Ruler of the universe, and Giver of all life.
(Psalm 139:7-10; Romans 1:20, 11:33; Revelation 19:1-2,6)

Jesus Christ

His deity is the eternal Son of God and through His miraculous virgin conception, became man without ceasing to be God.  He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and shed His blood to die a substitutionary and vicarious death on the cross in order to atone for the sins of mankind. He was resurrected from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father to be exalted forevermore.
(Hebrews 13:20, Luke 1:35; Romans 3:24-25, 4:25; Hebrews 2:9, 9:24)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Supernatural power at work in regeneration, and He indwells all believers, teaching and guiding them in order to live a godly and fruit-producing life.
(Romans 8:5-6, 9-11; John 16:13; 1 John 2:20,27)

The Fall of Man

Man was created in the image of God, but in Adam's sin, the entire race inherited a sinful nature and became alienated from God; of himself, man is unable to fix his lost condition.
(Romans 3:22-23, 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3,12)

Salvation occurs through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and His substitutionary shedding of blood and death on the cross. It is accepted by faith, it is a free gift from God and is not a result of good works.
(Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 8:9)

The bodily resurrection of all men: those who are saved unto eternal life, and the unsaved to judgement and everlasting punishment.
(Matthew 25:46, John 5:28-29, 11:25-26)

Unity of Believers

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, believers are united together in spirit. We should be brotherly, and be kindhearted and loving to one another.
(1 Corinthians 12:12-14)

Human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being created by God before the beginning of the world.  Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life.
(Psalm 139:14-16; Isaiah 44:24, 49:1-5; Jeremiah 1:5)
